On 14th May the representatives of the German Chambers of Foreign Trade from Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Russia were able to gather information about the concept and the programme of the Murmann School of Global Management and Economics. In particular, the short-term programmes on individual topics of international management aroused great interest.
The manager of the German-Baltic Chamber of Commerce in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, Maren Diale-Schellschmidt, foresees potential in offering 2-day courses on topics of global management that are open for all countries bordering on the Baltic.
The meeting took place on the evening prior to an Information Day in the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Kiel during which companies from Schleswig-Holstein could be advised with regard to the establishment of economic relations in one of the Baltic states. Rainer Bock, Assistant Chief Executive Officer of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Kiel is pleased that mutual project ideas already came to light during the first meeting and regards the Murmann School of Global Management and Economics as being an enrichment for the economic region Schleswig-Holstein.
