Yesterday, Klaus Murmann and Dennis J. Snower presented the concept of the Murmann School to the guests of the Kiel Salon at the Kieler Kaufmann Hotel.

During the Murmann Forum, held today in the plenary hall of the Schleswig-Holstein parliament, renowned representatives from the worlds of commerce and science discussed whether increasing globalisation will require a change in management strategies. The Forum marked the award presented to the Murmann School as a "Landmark in the Land of Ideas 2007".

When large ferries and cruise ships sail into the Kieler Förde, as a student or course participant of the Murmann School you are always very close by.

For the first time, this year’s program will be carried out jointly by the Murmann School of Global Management and Economics and the previously responsible institution, the Kiel Institute for the World Economy.

At 25 September 2007, the Murmann School of Global Management and Economics in Kiel will be one of the locations that represent the joint initiative of the Federal Government of Germany and the German business world, “Germany - Land of Ideas”.

Congratulations to Klaus Murmann, the private founder of our business school, named after him and based on a public-private partnership. Mr. Murmann, who was awarded a German doctorate in law as well as two honorary doctor titles from economic faculties , will celebrate his 75th birthday.

Klaus Murmann and representatives of the Land of Schleswig-Holstein, the Christian-Albrechts-University Kiel and Kiel Institute for the World Economy today signed the cooperation agreement for the Murmann School of Global Management and Economics.
