FACULTY & RESEARCH
The Faculty of the Murmann School will be expected to engage in high-profile research carried out in close cooperation with Kiel University and the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. The manner of cooperation will be highly flexible, ranging from collaboration on an individual base to inter-institutional projects. The three institutions and their international networks will constitute a powerful base for exciting, excellent research on global management and economic affairs.
The full-time teaching staff of the Murmann School will be led by two full professors. On the basis of their international and interdisciplinary experiences they will make this new approach to economics come alive and play a decisive role in shaping the School's reputation.
The teaching staff will be complemented by internationally renowned visiting professors who will bring in their expertise and significantly contribute to the international reputation of the School. Research staff from Kiel University and The Kiel Institute for the World Economy will also teach some of the courses.
Flexible arrangements will be developed to encourage teachers and researchers to cooperate in joint teaching assignments encompassing the Murmann School, Kiel University and The Kiel Institute for the World Economy. The aim is to develop a distinctive perspective on the whole complex agenda and give all the Faculty access to the greatest possible range of resources and sources of inspiration.
