TODAY AND TOMORROW

We have already acquired important cooperation partners from both the business and the academic world: the Foundation Murmann School (Förderstiftung Murmann School of Global Management and Ecnomics), the Christian-Albrechts- University Kiel, Kiel Institute for the World Economy and the Ministry of Science of the Land of Schleswig-Holstein. However, we do not plan to stop here.

Together with other universities and research institutes we want to further develop the Murmann School’s basic ideas to enable teaching and research at the highest and most up-to-date levels. The Scientific Advisory Council will actively support this process.

Cooperating with the business world is just as important to us. Only by exchanging ideas with practitioners can we achieve a future-oriented link between management topics and the global economy.
An HR Advisory Council will be implemented in March 2008. Its members will include the Human Resource Managers of globally active corporations who will assist in the further development of the Murmann School by giving their advice and stating their requirements.
Further institutions and companies, such as HSH Nordbank, ZÖLLNER GmbH and the Professor Werner Petersen Foundation, support the further education of young executives by providing scholarships and cooperating with regard to content, such as by giving guest lectures or issuing topics for theses.

We look forward to an active exchange of ideas and working together in various ways!
